It features AC receptacle to run almost any household or electronic appliance, including color TV’s (up to 25” even for E-150); TV/VCR combinations; laptop computers; cellular phones; lamps and many more. Added safety features include automatic low battery shutdown to prevent damage to your battery.

INVERTER OUTPUT WAVEFORM
The AC output waveform of this Inverter is not “Sinusoidal”. It is called a “Modified Sine Wave” or “Quasi-sine wave”. It is a stepped waveform that is designed to have characteristics similar to the sine wave shape of utility power. A waveform of this type is suitable for a wide variety of applications.

Protective Features
High Input Voltage Protection- The Inverter will automatically shutdown when the input voltage exceeds 15.6 Volts DC (30 Volts DC at 24V Inverter). The LED indicator is “RED”.

Low Battery Protection – This condition is not harmful to the inverter but could damage the power source. The inverter automatically shuts down when the input voltage drops below 10 volts DC (20 Volts DC at 24V Inverter). The LED indicator is “RED”. When the condition is corrected, the unit may restart and LED will return to “GREEN”.

Reverse Voltage Polarity Protection – Reverse polarity or a short circuit condition will usually result in the fuse being blown. Immediately disconnect the shorted load and replace the fuse as described in “Fuse Replacement”.

Overload Protection – The inverter will automatically shut down when the CONTINUOUS draw exceeds 150 watts respectively. The LED indicator is “RED”.

Overheat Protection – When the temperature sensor inside the inverter reaches 70°C (158°F), the unit will automatically shut down. The LED indicator is “RED”.
