Newstar Ding-Dong Door Chime Intercom (White) MPD-909

This Newstar Ding-Dong Door Chime Intercom (White) MPD-909 is reliable device which provides valuable safety and convenience functions in your premise. Instead of answering the door each time you receive a caller, this Door chime Intercom lets you talk to your callers before you open the door. It consists of an Indoor Station and a weatherproof Outdoor Annunciator. The Outdoor Annunciator screws to the wall or door outside; whilst the Indoor Station is situated inside your premise. Both units, made of an unbreakable ABS plastic resin, are connected by a 20m (66ft.) connecting cable which is provided. Any time the button on the Outdoor Annunciator is pressed, the Indoor Station will emit a loud ‘Ding-Dong’ chime. Pressing and releasing the button on the Indoor Station allows you to communicate with the caller outside (the caller does not need to press any button to talk back). Power will be automatically switched off about 30 seconds after you have finished talking. The system requires one 9V-006P battery (not included) which should be installed inside the Indoor Station. A weak battery will be indicated by a flashing light when any button is pressed. The Indoor Station is also equipped with a socket for connecting a mains adaptor if required.
Low Battery Indication
The system is equipped with a low battery indicator. When the light is flashing during operation, the battery should be replaced with a fresh one immediately.
